Designed in the style of a Cypriot village complete with a pretty little church, this truly exclusive resort is beautifully set overlooking Pissouri Bay and the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Low-rise buildings, all individually designed, cluster around an 80-metre waterway connecting indoor and outdoor pools and leading down to the beach through beautifully landscaped gardens. Situated on an unspoilt stretch of coastline half-way between Pafos and Lemesos, the Columbia Beach Resort is also close to some of the island’s finest archaeological sites.
Accommodation
All 94 suites have balconies or terraces overlooking the sea and pool, though a few look inland over the unspoilt countryside and the resort’s superb gardens. For families, there are one or two bedroom suites and interconnecting rooms available. All are beautifully designed, with vaulted airy ceilings and natural fabrics setting the tone. All have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, safe, a comfortable sitting area, satellite television and ensuite bathrooms with king-size tubs and separate shower stalls.
