Highlights

24 rooms

• Spacious cabins and social areas
• Expert naturalists
• Alfresco dining
• Small boat atmosphere

Discover the Galapagos Islands on board one of the finest small cruise ships in the islands. Owner operated and managed, the Eclipse allows the more discerning traveller to experience one of the world’s greatest natural treasures in the comfort of an elegant expedition vessel. She was converted especially for cruising in the islands and offers the generous accommodation of a larger vessel, whilst preserving the atmosphere and exclusivity of a smaller yacht. The Eclipse anchors off-shore at two visitor sites per day and passengers are ferried to the landing point in motorised dinghies. Groups are divided into a maximum of twelve people and each has its own naturalist guide. After a leisurely walk with stops en route for bird-watching or photography, there is often time for a swim or snorkel before returning to the ship.

Accommodation

The Eclipse is a 210 ft expedition vessel that accommodates up to 48 passengers in Staterooms on the Main Deck, or Superior and Deluxe Staterooms on the Boat Deck, all with sea views. With some of the largest cabins of any vessel in the Galapagos, those of the Eclipse are fully air-conditioned, with king or twin bed arrangement, safes and well-appointed bathrooms with bathrobes.
