Day 1 - London/RomeArrive at Rome airport on your British Airways flight from London-Gatwick for the start of a memorable journey in the classic tradition, exploring Italy's living history and magnificent cultural heritage, liberally seasoned with spectacle and romance. Stay at the Hotel de Russie for three nights, where the buildings of the ancients glow amongst Baroque cathedrals.Days 2 to 3 - Rome

Explore Florence on foot and visit the famous Uffizi Gallery, where you can see Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Caravaggio’s Bacchus. Also view the remarkable exterior of the Palazzo Vecchio before walking through the Piazza Signoria. A visit to the Duomo and Accademia which houses Michelango’s David is a must.Day 7 - Florence/Venice
Today you will transfer to the railway station for your first class journey to Venice, your third and final Italian city. Here you will experience the inspirational canals and pastel palazzos of Venice, and stay for three nights at the boutique Bauer Il Palazzo.Days 8 to 9 - Venice
Time at leisure to visit the Doge’s Palace, Piazza San Marco and St Mark’s Basilica. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a romantic gondola ride, seranaded by musicians. Another suggestion is to travel by private boat across the lagoon to the islands of Murano, famous for its glass works and Burano, known for its lace. Day 10 - London
