The most well known of all the lakes, Lake Como sits in a romantic position with the mountains surrounding the lake.Take a full day to explore Bellagio with the shops, villas and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also slightly south of Bellagio, is the outstanding gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eryl. Varenna and Menaggio are towns also worth a visit and make time to take a memorable boat trip.Day 5 - Lake Como/Lake Garda
Drive to Lake Garda to stay at the tranquil Hotel Villa Cortine Palace for three nights. Days 6 to 7 - Lake Garda
The largest of the Italian Lakes, Lake Garda stretches between the Alps and the Dolomites and the pretty town of Sirmione on the southern shores. Explore the moated castle, Rocca Scaliger and the towns’ narrow medieval streets. Drive North of Riva to access some of the region's most dramatic scenery including a 287-ft waterfall at Varone and the remains of a Bronze Age settlement at Lake Ledro.Day 8 - Lake Garda/Verona
Drive from Lake Garda to Verona for a two night stay at the Due Torri Hotel Baglioni situated within walking distance of the Roman Arena.Day 9 - Verona
Visit the Roman Arena and then spend time exploring the narrow streets lined with palazzi that make up the historic centre. Day 10 - Verona/London
Transfer to Verona Airport for your British Airways flight to London-Gatwick.
