This charming traditional Caribbean-style inn has recently enjoyed the introduction of stylish new furnishings throughout, however it still proudly retains the easy-going tranquil intimacy that regular travellers to the Caribbean have come to expect from small exclusive hideaways. The beachfront open-air thatched bar and restaurant serves fine Creole and international dishes. All meals, fine wines and signature French champagne are included, just adding to the indulgence of staying at the East Winds Inn.
Accommodation
There are 30 rooms including an Ocean View Suite located in single-storey gingerbread cottages and African-style rondavels hidden in lush vegetation and all with shaded terrace or patio. Superior rooms are in the original, hexagonal rondavels with thatched patios; they have walk-in showers, ceiling fans and an adjoining dressing area with mini-bar. The attractive Deluxe rooms have air-conditioning, television, DVD player, a spacious bathroom and large, partially open-air showers. The three air-conditioned Ocean View rooms together with the Suite are on the beach and although smaller in size, offer a great sea view from their small traditional balconies.
