A Message from Geoffrey Kent

Geoffrey KentFifty years ago, my parents and I founded Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) as a safari company in East Africa. Our first journeys, conducted with little more than a refrigerated truck and a silver ice bucket, set the style for every A&K journey that followed: authentic, inspiring and organised down to the last detail by our expert local teams.

Today you can experience the A&K difference in more than 100 countries on all seven continents. Our local guides bring each stop on your journey to life with their intimate knowledge of the culture, history and wildlife of your destination. Backing them is our network of local offices, whose close relationships with hotels, game reserves and historic sites enable our one-of-a-kind insider access opportunities.

A&K's hallmark combination of comfort and authenticity has earned us countless accolades over the years from clients and travel professionals alike. As the world gets smaller and travellers become more particular in how they spend their leisure time, we respond with a constantly evolving portfolio that caters to the needs of today's travellers. Whether you are looking for a European villa or an extreme mountain trekking adventure, A&K is ready to deliver a tailor-made service.

As you read our web pages, I hope you will come to appreciate, as I do, the extraordinary resources and talent at work behind the scenes that make every A&K journey a trip of a lifetime.

Happy travels,
Geoffrey Kent

Guest Testimonial

We are most grateful for the efforts you (Sam Williams) have made on our behalf to make up for the cancellation of the Sun Boat III trip.
It is when things go wrong that companies demonstrate whether they just talk about good customer service, or mean it.  You obviously mean it and we fully intend to travel with Abercrombie and Kent again.
