People return from Kenya full of admiration for the friendly people, colourful tribes and unbeatable game viewing - notably the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest and zebra between the Serengeti to the Mara. The 'Big Five', the high point of many a safari, are resident in higher concentrations here than perhaps anywhere else. Safaris in Tanzania are also amongst the most celebrated in the world. There is simply so much wildlife in the country's many national parks, which include the Serengeti, famed for the annual migration of prolific amounts of game, and the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which cocoons an array of wildlife that roams the crater floor.
South Africa, with its melting pot of cultures, easy-going atmosphere, sophisticated lodges, superb wines and cuisine, wonderful scenery and excellent safari is arguably the most all-encompassing destination in the world. The Western Cape vineyards carpet the rolling landscapes of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch, and the celebrated Garden Route follows Africa's southern coast along windswept cliffs, sandy bays, sheltered forests and mountains - perfect for nature lovers.

At A&K all of our African Safaris & Holidays 2013, 2014 are individually tailored to suit your needs and timescale. However, as a guide, a 8 day safari in Africa will cost from £3,480 per person based on two adults sharing with flights from the UK and subject to availability.
