Located along Alaska's historic Iditarod Trail, Winterlake offers amazing cuisine, culinary classes and wilderness adventures. After lunch join the resident fly-fishing expert for a fly-casting lesson on the grass then take a short hike to Red Lake to practice your skills fishing for rainbow trout. In the late afternoon, take a cooking class in the kitchen, wine and fine cheese tasting in the main lodge bar area, and dinner. After dinner, there is an evening education program on Alaska in the wellness room or take the silent electric boat out to spend quiet moments on the lake to watch the otters play.
