Spend 9 days spent on the ice based out of White desert's luxury camp doing a range of unique activities. The highlight of the adventure is visiting the Emperor penguin colony along with fantastic day trips to the mountains and the ice barrier.

Emperors and South Pole
This 8 day trip combines the magnificent emperor penguin colony with flying across the high polar plateau to the geographic South Pole. It is the ultimate Antarctic experience for those not wanting to compromise.

The Jet Set
This adventure allows you to experience the interior of Antarctica in only three days. Although you will not go to the Emperor colony on this trip, you will experience all the activities around camp, along with day trips in 4x4s.

The Greatest Day Trip
This is truly the ultimate day trip. The plane sets off from Cape Town, South Africa and you fly 5 ½ hours over the immense South Ocean to the camp in Antarctica. The local guides will then ask you to choose from a number of walks and activities varying in difficulty, before you enjoy an incredible champagne lunch.

Weather
The months that visits are feasible are the austral summer months of November to March, when daily temperatures average from 25 to 45F.
Best time to be there
October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
