  • Uncover the flirtatiously European and outrageously addictive city of Buenos Aires
  • Live like a gaucho and ride and relax at a traditional estancia
  • Gaze down upon the thundering Devil’s Throat Gorge at the mighty Iguazu falls

Day 1 London / Buenos Aires
Maximise your time by flying overnight to Buenos Aires, the sexy city that never sleeps. You’ll wake up to a dizzying grid of colourful balconied barrios, wide tree lined boulevards, and some seriously noble architecture towering around quaint neighbourhoods chock a block full of romantic restaurants and cafés. Welcome to the ‘Paris of Latin America’
Legado Mitico

Day 2 Buenos Aires
The Porteños have an immutable charm and deservingly contagious love for their city - both glamorously European and headily Latin American. Today take it all in at your own pace, perhaps simply pottering through the sprawling antiques market in San Telmo or the chic designer shops in Recoleta sampling the city’s huge range of sophisticated to kooky cafés along the way.
Seduced to explore more? Take a stroll through the calm and beautiful Botanical Gardens, marvel at some Latin American Art in the design beauty of MALBA and then get lost in the resting ground for the good the bad and the ugly of the country in Recoleta’s sprawling cemetery of over 6,400 above ground mausoleums created in a mish mash of styles that is sure to impress.

Day 3 Buenos Aires
This is a city to put a spring in your step with streets made for strolling. Today your expert guide will uncover the true gems of the city. Beginning at the city’s heart in the Plaza de Mayo you will see the Argentinian president's office, from where Eva Perón made her iconic balcony appearances, you’ll continue to learn of the country’s fascinating history told through it’s heady mix of architectural styles and finish in buzzing La Boca where colourful street art is the backdrop for pavement Tango and cute artisan stalls.

Day 4 Buenos Aires / Estancia country
It’s true; you can’t get away from the fact that ‘Argentina’ conjures up pictures of horses, cowboys and ridiculous steaks. These are not clichés, they make up the soul of this country. You don’t need to travel far from the city along sun-dappled roads to get a taste of rural ‘gaucho’ life. In estancia country the ‘Asado’ (huge Argentine BBQ)) is king and after devouring yours in the grounds of your traditional estancia we don’t expect you to want to do much other than take a dip in the pool, perhaps watch a polo game, take a leisurely ride with the cowboys themselves or just laze on the springy grass and breathe in the soporific cowboy-countryside vibes.
Estancia La Bamba Areco | Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 - 6 Estancia country
Hide away for two days in your charming estancia, laze amongst the tree-lined avenues and explore the pampas with the gauchos taking the horses down to the picturesque riverbanks to cool off. After watching the sunset across the wholly instagrammable grounds visit a local ‘pulperia’ (traditional gaucho drinking den) or feast on succulent beef prepared by chefs serving up pure culinary wizardry back at the estancia.
Really want to hang the Argentine way? Saddle up the pony and take a polo lesson.
Estancia La Bamba Areco | Meals: Breakfast

Day 7 Estancia country / Iguazu
UNESCO doesn’t stamp its name easily but we can see why they chose to do so on Iguazu. Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world it’s thrillingly vast cascades tumbling down the cliff sides will astound. Straddling two countries, composed of over 250 show-off cascades and surrounded by a subtropical rainforest that is home to over 2,000 species of plants it has some serious vital stats.
It’s a short transfer form the airport to your hotel on the Argentine side of the falls where your hotel awaits. Your neighbours are giant anteaters, hooting howler monkeys, shy ocelots and the rare jaguar. We can’t promise you will see them all but just knowing they are out there, hidden amidst the thunderous noise from one of the planets most awe inspiring sites will excite you.

Day 8 Iguazu
Long long ago Tupi-Guarani Indian folklore states that a serpent God smashed through the Iguazu river in a fit of anger at lovers trying to escape his sacrificial clutches in a canoe. The result is the shocking Devil’s Throat Gorge - a gaping chasm nearly 500 feet across and 269 feet high, where, from your thundering look out point, it’s possible to see the hundreds of cascades that make up this extravagant complex and the roar of the water below.
Today you will strike out to this, one of nature’s most mind-boggling masterpieces and be transported to the very heart of this epic display of Indian myth. The journey is almost as thrilling as the destination. You swing down catwalks reeling at the show-stopping views that beckon you to the heart of the show. You have the gift of an entire day to explore, with a naturalist guide, this maze of water, otherworldly sounds and eye popping jewel like colours which change not just daily but by the minute.

Whilst the thunderous noise of one of the world’s most awe-inspiring sites still serenading your senses we’ll make things easy for you and deliver you to the local airport where you can board a short connecting flight to Sao Paulo and then directly back to the UK.
