Days 1-2 Buenos Aires
Known as the 'Paris of the south', Buenos Aires is an elegant city that more than lives up to its moniker: think wide promenades, colonial architecture and romantic cityscapes. Your hotel, the Four Seasons Buenos Aires, epitomises the city's glamour and is located in the heart of the action. You'll be met at the airport and driven to the hotel to relax before an afternoon tour of the city, visiting the central Plaza de Mayo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The next day you'll have time to get under the skin of the city at your own pace, before we whisk you off to the lavish surroundings of Esquina Carlos Gardel, possibly the city's most famous tango venue, for dinner and a show.

Day 3 Ushuaia
Your early flight is bound for Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world and capital of Tierra del Fuego, literally, the 'land of fire'. After a brief sightseeing tour and –time permitting –scope for you to explore on your own accord, you'll be walking the gangplank to your own maritime adventure as you board the Stella Australis, a luxurious expedition vessel.

Days 4-5 Cruising Fjords
Daily excursions on your expedition through Patagonia may vary every day, depending upon weather and ice conditions. One thing is for certain, however, and that's the beautiful surroundings. You'll cruise to Cape Horn National Park, Walaia Bay, where you'll disembark to visit one of the most important indigenous sites of the region, and Garibaldi Fjord, where you'll enjoy views of the glacier of the same name and the impressive snowfields of the Darwin Range. There are many solitary beaches along the way that you may visit by zodiac, perhaps trekking into the lush forests before navigating though the many meandering channels of the region.

Day 6 Punta Arenas
Magdalena Island is your stop for today, a natural reserve of Magellan penguins, cormorants and other birds, peacefully coexisting with sea lions. Here your cruise ends, and you'll have lunch at a local restaurant before a scenic drive to your hotel, The Singular, in Puerto Natales.

Choose from a wide range of expeditions, including horse riding, trekking, kayaking, mountain biking and bird-watching –navigating this unspoilt wilderness is a thrill in itself. Among the options that you can enjoy are exclusive trips to the hotel's private reserves.
