On arrival Catch a short flight south to beautiful Bariloche.Bariloche is the Alps of South America. The region offers unbelievably beautiful photo opportunities and your hotel, Puema Hue, is located amid some of the most attractive scenery in Argentina. We've set aside plenty of free time so you can explore at your own pace. On your first full day we'll be taking you on a tour of the region, exploring the Gutiérrez Lake, following the scenic Route 40 as it winds deep into the wilds. Now it's time to saddle up! Your steeds will be ready and waiting for you at a beautiful estancia where you'll mount up for a ride on horseback through the woodland trails surrounding Lake Mascardi, followed by a traditional Patagonian lunch. The adventure continues in the afternoon, when you can choose between trekking up to Cerro Agostini's waterfall or paddling around the bay in a double kayak.
