THE HOTEL
Built by Grace Bros. in the 1920s as a showpiece for their successful retail business, The Grace Hotel has been beautifully restored to its former glory. It is now one of Sydney's most prominent historical landmarks, a fine example of Art Deco design with a distinguished Neo-Gothic exterior.
All rooms are spacious and modern, with clean contemporary lines in evidence throughout. The décor is dominated by warm, earthy colours, whilst the furniture is both stylish and comfortable.
The Grace is an ideal base from which to explore Sydney - being only a few minutes walk from Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay and King St. Wharf as well as the best shopping at the Queen Victoria Building David Jones city stores, Pitt St. Mall, and of course Myers in the Sydney Central Plaza. The Rocks, Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge and the iconic Sydney Opera House are all within easy reach.
All year round; many parts of the country are perfect, even in the middle of the year. The climate ranges from tropical (Darwin) to semi-desert (Alice Springs), humid temperate (Brisbane and Sydney), cool temperate (Melbourne and Hobart) and Mediterranean (Perth and Adelaide).
