Galaxy I

Queensland , Australia

NEED TO KNOW

  • Galaxy I is a 26 metre luxury super yacht, based in Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland
  • Galaxy I's on board chef takes full advantage of the abundance of local natural produce, whilst ensuring that every palate is catered to - offering everything from formal dinners to casual BBQs
  • Facilities include decks, bars and lounges, water sports equipment (includes 1500cc Seadoo, snorkelling equipment, sea biscuit, 2 x sea kayaks, SCUBA on request), a Sharp entertainment system including iPod docking station

THE VESSEL
Tailored to the discerning traveller, Galaxy I is superbly appointed to take in the wonderful natural attributes of the Tropical North.

Displaying lovely lines, polished timbers and chrome, Galaxy I is designed around three spacious decks.  The upper deck is perfect for relaxing on a sun lounger in the balmy climate of the Tropical North. The forward deck is ideal as a sunset venue complete with canapés and pre dinner drinks, while the saloon deck is a perfect example of why alfresco dining is the preferred dining option in this area of Australia.

Comfortably sleeping six passengers, the staterooms continue the attention to detail on show throughout the entire vessel. The master stateroom boasts a king size bed, marble ensuite, TV and DVD player and a stereo system. Two further staterooms feature twin bedding, ensuites and, again, their own TV and DVD players.

Custom-built by Precision Marine, Galaxy I has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 1175km, which makes her the perfect vessel for exploring the multitude of different reefs and islands that make up the extraordinary Great Barrier Reef.
