THE HOTEL
Claerwen is a unique holiday retreat. Set in stunning natural surroundings, it offers a holiday experience focused on relaxation, self-discovery and personal growth. It is also a great spot from which to explore Victoria's dramatic west coast - the beautiful beaches of Apollo Bay, the Otway rainforests, surf beaches like Moonlight Head and Johanna, and The Twelve Apostles are close at hand.
Its guesthouse and two cottages are nestled in 130 acres of bush and fern gullies. Simply decorated in pure white and with wooden floors, all the studios, suites and cottages are elegantly relaxed spaces - and all offer superb views from the retreat's elevated location. All are well equipped with kitchen, dining areas and en suite bathrooms.
All year round; many parts of the country are perfect, even in the middle of the year. The climate ranges from tropical (Darwin) to semi-desert (Alice Springs), humid temperate (Brisbane and Sydney), cool temperate (Melbourne and Hobart) and Mediterranean (Perth and Adelaide).
