Bhutan, 7 Nights

Day 1 - Delhi/Paro
Fly to Paro and transfer to Uma Paro and check in for a seven night stay. Enjoy a short guided walk in the afternoon.
 
Day 2 - Paro
Enjoy a day walk to Zurig Dzong. In the afternoon, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan with its magic orange tree which bears fruits all year round.

Day 3 - Paro
Today visit the Haa Valley only opened in 2002. Drive to the Chele La and then down to the Haa Valley (by bike if you prefer!). Visit the bazaar, Lhakhang Karpo, Lhakhang Napo . If you prefer a walk then we would recommend a walk (two hours) from the Chele La to Kili Goemba an ancient nunnery. Return to Paro by vehicle or bike (28km,  down hill).

Day 4 - Paro
Today walk to Chhubjakhar Monastery. Along the way you will appreciate the beauty of Bhutan with its spectacular scenery. There is now the option to head off on a longer walk or return to Uma Paro.

Day 5 - Paro
Today you will visit Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Among the sites you will visit is the National Memorial Chorten. The drive takes about 90 minutes. Lunch at a local Bhutanese restaurant.

Day 6 - Paro
Today relax at Uma Paro or try your hand at some archery, the national sport of Bhutan or maybe indulge with spa treatments and a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath.

Day 7 - Paro
Today you will visit one of the most amazing and important pieces of architecture in Bhutan, Taksang Goemba. Time permitting you will also visit Drukayel Dzong.

Day 8 - Paro/Onward journey
Early morning departure from Uma Paro to the airport for your onward flight
