Kwando Little Kwara
Why we like it
- Little Kwara camp is located in the private concession of Kwara in the Okavango Delta on permanent water adjacent to Moremi Game reserve
- Five luxury en-suite tents all with inside/outside showers and a bath
- Small and intimate camp
- The open 4x4 vehicles can go off road and night drives are available
- An excellent choice of camp for all especially for people looking for a more exclusive and vintage Africa experience.
Spend the afternoon sat on your own private deck looking over the African savannah never knowing what wildlife you may see.
Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with A&K. There was a fascinating mix of location and camp styles and the particular sequence worked very well for us.
- KB, Surrey
Little Kwara has a small splash pool to relax by in the middle of the day and a raised lounge area with comfortable sofas and chairs to relax, read a book and take in the beautiful setting of this camp. The dining area of the camp is open sided so that guests can always enjoy the fantastic views of the delta. Little Kwara camp offers a wide variety of activities, in addition to game drives, both day and night, the camp offers game walks and mokoro trips, as well as power boating and fishing. (There is no fishing allowed in January and February as it is the breeding season)
Kwando Camps welcome children of all ages and do have a special "Family Safari" programme with your own dedicated guide to not only guide you on your game drives but to look after you in camp and make sure that the children are not only entertained but learning about life in the bush. Some of the activities on offer are spoor castings, using spotlights, fishing, mammal, bird and plant identification, identifying night sounds and making greeting cards out of natural materials.
