Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp
Why we like it
- Nxabega meaning "place of the giraffe" is the perfect place to explore the Okavango Delta
- Nine luxury tented suites on raised decks, en suite each with a private deck overlooking the floodplain
- Track elephant, giraffe and zebra, as well as the semi-acquatic lechwe and sitatunga antelope
- Activities on offer are day and night safaris, bush walks, mokoro trips and powerboat river cruises
Waking up early in the morning to the sounds of the African bush and having breakfast in bed was a real treat and an excellent start to the day.
Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with A&K. There was a fascinating mix of location and camp styles and the particular sequence worked very well for us.
- KB, Surrey
It's the perfect combination of modern luxury and nature. Nine tented suites on raised wooden platforms are tucked under a canopy of African ebony trees.
The reed-and-thatch guest areas include indoor and outdoor dining, a safari shop and a swimming pool with a grand deck overlooking the bush. From this cove of comfort, guests are able to appreciate the exquisite beauty of the Okavango Delta. Private bush dinners, cocktails on the river island are provided by Nxabega's friendly staff.
