Since crossing the Equator for the first time as a six year old en route to Indonesia, I have always had a passion for sights and sounds far away from home, albeit during my formative years with a helping hand from my adventurous family. I have a tremendous passion for wildlife and the great outdoors, bolstered by various safari trips to Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia as well as amazing boat trips to Komodo and around the Galapagos. Recent trips to Latin America have given Africa competition as my favourite continent, cemented by wonderful experiences trekking in the Andes, piranha fishing in the Pantanal and marrying my Mexican wife in Guadalajara! Freedom, adventure and the sometimes unpredictable nature of travel have continuously fuelled my drive to explore and I am always keen to share these experiences with anyone who is willing to listen.

Some people are lucky enough to work in a job doing something that they love; I am one of the lucky ones. Like most people who work in travel, we do it because we love it. I was born in Anguilla and as I grew up I became ever more charmed by the lure of travel, adventure and discovery. At eighteen I made a list of all the places I wanted to explore in the world. It simply read "everywhere". Deciding that this was perhaps not the most concise list, I set off with my backpack to South East Asia and immersed myself in the culture. From then on I was well and truly bitten by the travel bug and over the past few years have continued my journey of discovery throughout the world including Australia, Morocco, Canada, Abu Dhabi and Brazil. With A&K I have the opportunity to help people plan their perfect holiday whilst still pursuing my dream of exploring our diverse and beautiful planet. My role as an Africa specialist with Abercrombie & Kent has allowed me to travel to South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania and Mauritius.

After graduating from University, and leaving the green fields of Devon behind, I opted to travel instead of immediately joining the daily rugby scrum on the London Underground. Travelling extensively through South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Kenya and Tanzania; visiting North India’s Hill Stations and the Golden Triangle; taking an overnight train to the vibrant wonder that is Varanasi and then basking in the tranquillity of the Annapurna Mountains in Nepal. More recently I've taken part in some more adventurous travelling including climbing Kilimanjaro and Stok Kangri in Ladakh, India. Visiting New Zealand’s stunning mountains and Fiord Lands of the West Coast also holds a very special place in my heart. All of these experiences gave me a travel bug that I still haven’t shaken off and I now wishes to use this passion for travel to design experiences of a lifetime to clients. However, I still like to pop back to Devon every now and then for a cream tea.

It wasn't until the age of 22 when I decided to leave the UK behind and embark on my gap year travels around the world…. I was fortunate enough to visit many destinations within South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and North America. From there my love of adventure continued and I spent 5 months living IN the French Alps on my ski season followed by 12 months in Australia where I worked in a dolphin resort on the most western tip of the country. Since returning I have continued with my love for travelling by visiting India, Borneo, Cuba, Sri Lanka to name but a few, and this year I travelled to the beautiful country of Myanmar with Abercrombie & Kent.
