Although born in the UK, Danielle spent most of her childhood in Italy. Traveling frequently through Europe as a child, she has always loved exploring foreign lands and cultures. After graduating from university, Danielle worked as a tour manager for an adventure travel company, leading group tours in the Balkans, the Middle East, China, Cuba, Central America and South East Asia. After nearly 5 years travelling the world, Danielle settled down in Cambodia for the next 3 years, working for a small local luxury tour operator. Her role involved looking after and managing the travel arrangements of distinguished guests including heads of industry, ambassadors and celebrities visiting the temples of Angkor Wat. After returning to Europe, working for A&K in Private Travel in the Monaco boutique, seemed the perfect fit for her, planning and managing holiday arrangements for our clients. Since joining A&K in 2013, Danielle has visited some of A&K's top destinations such as Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia and Turkey. Her travels have brought her around the world, she has a keen eye for details and she is always curious to explore a new destination.
Danielle is passionate about local people, cultures and nature and loves sharing travel stories with our guests.
Danielle is fluent in English and Italian.

After completing college in Germany, Gabriela's passion for travelling and languages brought her to Paris for a year. Back in Germany, Gabriela organised activity and adventure tour groups with French and German youths in Southern France during her studies and vacations. She then moved to Greece where she worked for high end luxury yachts and also for a Greek cruise line as an excursion and tour sales specialist.
Moving from Greece to Monaco, Gabriela worked for many years in the shipping sector, dealing with both high net worth individuals and complex shipping companies worldwide, which gave her the great opportunity of combining work with travelling and meeting different cultures across the globe. Moving finally from the commercial shipping industry into the luxury Cruise industry was such a great fit for her.
Through work and on vacations Gabriela's travels include Northern and Southern Europe as well as the Baltic, USA, Alaska, Canada, China, Caribbean, Central and South America, Australia, North Africa and many more. One of her last winter trips was cycling from Vietnam, through Cambodia to Thailand.
After a period specialising in the ultra-luxury cruise industry, Gabriela joined the Private Travel team in our travel boutique in Monaco.
Anantara Resort Golden Triangle: Great luxury combined with nature and adventure, elephants will join you for breakfast
Favourite travel experience?
2 weeks combined bicycle trip with luxury resorts Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai
Monte Carlo Bay Resort Restaurant in Monaco: The best brunch ever in a beautiful setting. 3-4 hours of a large choice of haute cuisine and champagne in a beautiful setting.
A guide in Thailand, unforgivable that I forgot his name. He was a local and not only did he have a great knowledge of country, culture and religion, he knew every plant and insect by heart and could tell a story about it. A former Buddhist monk, he taught more than just in words. He exuberated pure zen and love for every living creature around him.
Essential item that you always take with you?
Rather old fashioned, but I always travel with a journal.
Your one luxury when travelling?
Bubble bath is a must on most days after a day out in the dust, adventuring.
Best piece of travel advice?
Mix and mingle with locals as often you can to get an inside of their culture and habits. It will give you a piece of their knowledge, which you can take home.
Where next and why?
South Africa or Kenya: I have not visited either and have been fascinated by it for years, want to see these beautiful animals out in the wild.
