THE HOTEL
Casa do Amarelindo is a beautifully restored townhouse amidst the colourful cobbled streets of Salvador's historic Pelourinho district.  Behind a colonial archway lie cool terracotta floors, whitewashed walls and tropical courtyards.  This charming hotel offers a wonderful respite from the cheerful bustle of the town.

The 10 quiet, simple yet pleasant rooms are decorated in a local Bahia style with a touch of the African influence so characteristic of the region.  All have huge beds dressed with high-quality cotton linen, air conditioning and double-glazed French windows, plasma TVs, DVD and CD players.  The colonial theme is represented in wrought-iron bedsteads and antique dark-wood furniture.

The roof top terrace is an exceptional vantage point and a great spot for drinks or dinner whilst enjoying panoramic views of this UNESCO World Heritage town.

Guest Testimonial

Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with A&K. There was a fascinating mix of location and camp styles and the particular sequence worked very well for us.
