Sofitel Rio de Janeiro
Why we like it
- Great location at the end of the world famous Copacabana
- Blends the best of Brazilian culture with French savoir-faire
- Reputed as one of Brazil's most prestigious hotels
- Le Pré Catalan is well known as Rio's favourite French restaurant
- Sip champagne with beach views at the African style Horse's Neck bar
The mini tasting menu of wines and Caipirinhas at the Horse's Neck bar are always a good bet.
The Hotels you (Charlie Lockwood) selected were superb in Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, what a pleasure it has been to stay in the Belmond Hotels, everyone was so helpful, and the Four Seasons in Buenos Aires was equally superb
