Brazil, 8 Nights

Day 1 - Brazilian regional airport/Natal
Depart from a regional airport in Brazil for your flight to Natal, the 'city of sun'. Natal is the capital of Rio Grande do Norte State, famous for towering sand dunes, paradisiacal beaches and laid back lifestyle. Enjoy three nights at the boutique Manary Praia Hotel, located just behind the beach and with an excellent restaurant.

Day 2 - Natal
Enjoy a full day tour with your expert driver exploring the wilds of the northern shores by beach buggy, including a visit to Genipabu Beach and a sail in a local style 'jangada'. Drive to the top of huge sand dunes for excellent views across the palm fringed lagoon.

Day 3 - Natal
At leisure to relax and enjoy Brazil's most easy-going city.

Day 4 - Natal/Porto de Galinhas
Full day transfer south down the coast to Porto de Galinhas, once a landing stage for the slave trade, but now a small but bustling fishing village and tourist centre boasting a fine selection of local restaurants and bars. Spend four nights relaxing at the excellent Nannai Beach Resort, a few miles outside Porto de Galinhas. Nannai offers Balinese style bungalows with their own private plunge pools, a wide range of facilities and a long beach protected by an offshore reef.

Day 5 - Olinda
Full day guided tour to Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage site and beautiful town of 16th Century Baroque churches, brightly painted colonial houses, cobbled stone streets and artists workshops.

Days 6 and 7 - Porto de Galinhas
At leisure to relax and enjoy the ideal climate and beaches of Brazil's northern coast. Highly recommended is an excursion by boats to the offshore natural pools of Porto do Galinhas, ideal for snorkelling.

Day 8 - Porto de Galinhas/Recife
Departure to the airport.
