Inle Princess Resort
Why we like it
- Most famous hotel on Inle Lake
- Design inspired by the traditions and culture of the Shan and Intha people
- Home to one of the most well stocked wine cellars in Myanmar
We recommend you go for one of the Lake Front Chalets which offer a private balcony with uninterrupted views across the lake.
We loved the way A&K presented their documentation in the travel wallet and the lux' luggage tags looked the business. The "Small touches" count! Every one likes to feel special from time to time and we certainly were made to feel as such by all at A&K.Thank you Vicky Smith
Inle Princess Resort is one of the best hotels in Inle Lake and lies within the blue mountain ranges on the east bank of the lake near the Magyizin Village. The resort is built in traditional Shan style surrounded by serene lake and beautiful tropical gardens. The resort combines simplicity with modern comfort with its fine wooden chalets built on stilts above the lake, guests can enjoy the impressive views of the fields, mountain and the peaceful Inle Lake. Of the 46 chalets, 27 have lake views and 19 garden views.
Best time to be thereMyanmar (Burma) has three clear seasons: from March to May are the very hot summer months, the wet and humid monsoon runs from May to October and the cold dry winter lasts from November to February. The best time of year to visit is late November early December when the rains have gone, the landscape is lush and green and the skies are crystal clear. However any time from late November to March is a good time to travel.
