The expert resident tailor can create a new beach outfit especially for you within only 24 hours. She is also able to tailor shirts and dresses or other items of clothing.
I would also like to make special mention of Thida Win - she is an absolutely wonderful guide - very kind, patient, knowledgeable and a consummate professional in undertaking her job. She made sure that everything happened seamlessly without any hitches whatsoever - she is a great advert for A&K and for Myanmar.
The Amara Ocean Resort is located on a pristine beach in Ngapali, Burma's most beautiful region of Indian Ocean coastline. Here you will enjoy the utmost privacy in one of the 28 Luxury Bungalows, built in traditional style, that are scattered among a wide palm grove. There is one main restaurant that creates the most wonderful menus influenced by Asian and Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by a selection of fine wines. The restaurant also offers a "catch of the day" from the local fishermen as well as most of the fruit and vegetables being grown in the Amara's own garden.
Best time to be thereMyanmar (Burma) has three clear seasons: from March to May are the very hot summer months, the wet and humid monsoon runs from May to October and the cold dry winter lasts from November to February. The best time of year to visit is late November early December when the rains have gone, the landscape is lush and green and the skies are crystal clear. However any time from late November to March is a good time to travel.
