4 Rivers Floating Lodge
Why we like it
- Boutique environmentally friendly resort
- African style tented villas
- Remote location in the lush forested slopes of the Cardamons
After a day of exploration relax by the restaurant terasse and enjoy a cocktail with amazing views of the sun setting.
We loved Cambodia and learned a lot from the warm and engaged guides, Sothi and Huang. We were also surprised at how much we liked Beijing. Eric too was a fantastic guide and made us think of China and its place in the world differently.
- BM, London
Nestled amongst this virgin rainforest, 12 African style tented villas rest on the river. Whilst all tents have modern amenities they will be no match for the natural wonders on view from your private sun lounger balcony.
With nature being the order of the day there is much to do from the resort, kayak down river with an experienced guide, take an excursion to Tatai Waterfalls, swim in the river or stroll through the forested slopes of the Cardamons, considered to harbour more than 100 mammal species including numerous endangered species such as clouded leopard, pileated gibbon and Malaysian sun bear.
Best time to travel
The best time to travel would be during the dry season of October to March, avoiding the monsoon season of June to September. Temperatures remain fairly constant year round.
