Hotel De La Paix

Siem Reap , Cambodia

NEED TO KNOW

  • Hotel de la Paix is located in the heart of Siem Reap, only a few kilometres from the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat
  • Dining options range from an authentic Khmer tasting menu to gourmet international dishes
  • The hotel offers world-class spa facilities
  • A superb Khmer-inspired swimming pool is thoughtfully laid out, with ample space for shade and sun
  • Other facilities include the stunning Art Lounge, a combined gallery, lounge and bar, the Thev Gallery, a fitness centre, courtyards and gardens

THE HOTEL
Designed by architect Bill Bensley, Hôtel de la Paix is a wonderfully chic and stylish hotel - blending contemporary design with authentic Cambodian touches.  The hotel describes itself as designed to appeal to discerning travellers, and achieves that aim effortlessly.

Set around an inner courtyard, where a Boddhi tree is the focal point, the rooms are spacious and calming - each an oasis of cool.  Beautifully decorated in pure white, offset by wooden detailing and modern art, they are packed with luxurious touches, like pre-loaded iPods and sumptuous terrazzo baths.

The public areas too are stylish to a fault, with clean lines and mood lighting offering a counterpoint to the hotel's fabulous collection of art.
