Day 1 - London/Santiago
Take the overnight British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Sao Paulo.
Day 2 - Santiago
Arrive Sao Paulo and connect with the LAN Airlines flight to Santiago de Chile. Arrival transfer to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, your base for two nights. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon tour of Chile's sophisticated capital city taking in highlights such as the impressive Palacio de la Moneda and the Museum of pre-Hispanic Art which showcases thousands of relics from diverse cultures such as the Aztecs and the Mapuche Indians of Southern Chile.
Day 3 - Santiago
Day to appreciate the Santa Rita Vineyard in the famous Maipo Valley south of Santiago. Enjoy a tasty lunch at the winery restaurant before taking in the Andino Museum set within the grounds.
Day 4 - Santiago/Puerto Varas
Morning flight south to Puerto Montt, one of the principal gateways to the beautiful Chilean Lake District. Enjoy a guided tour of the town including the traditional fish and handicraft market, before continuing on to Puerto Varas, a pretty lake side town with fine views across the lake towards Osorno Volcano. Overnight at Quincho Country Lodge located a short drive out of town.
Day 5 - Puerto Varas/Villa La Angostura
Full day journey by road across the Andes. The beautiful shores of Chile's Lake Llanquihue give way to outstanding mountain scenery before arriving at Argentina's Nahuel Huapi National Park and Las Balsas Hotel.
Day 6 - Villa La Angostura/Bariloche
After breakfast, continue your journey to Bariloche. Board your private yacht for the navigation of Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Pañuelos a fabulous trip of tranquil beauty. Three nights at the celebrated Llao Llao Hotel.
Day 7 - Bariloche
Morning tour of Bariloche, Argentina's 'Little Switzerland' and the surrounding area including a chairlift ride up Cerro Campanario affording excellent views of the surrounding mountains, lakes and forests. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 8 - Bariloche
At leisure to enjoy the surrounding area or the excellent hotel facilities including a full service spa, golf, trekking, mountain biking or dance classes.
Day 9 - Bariloche/Buenos Aires
Morning flight to Buenos Aires, the 'Paris of Latin America'. Two nights at the world renowned Alvear Palace Hotel.
Day 10 - Buenos Aires
Morning guided tour of this fascinating city including the Teatro Colon, the Casa Rosada and colourful La Boca District. Afternoon at leisure to explore this fabulous city at your own pace.
Day 11 - Buenos Aires/Iguazu
Morning flight to Iguazu. Upon arrival explore the Argentinean side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls, one of the most impressive sights in Latin America with its 275 cascades across a two mile gulf. Overnight at the Sheraton International Iguazu.
Day 12 - Iguazu/Buenos Aires
Morning visit the Brazilian side of the falls with a tour to the base of the Devil's Throat. Afternoon flight to Buenos Aires for one further night at the Alvear Palace. This evening enjoy a VIP dinner at the splendid Esquina Carlos Gardel tango show, a revival of the Golden Decade of Buenos Aires.
Day 13 - Buenos Aires/London
Transfer to the airport for the overnight flight to London Heathrow, touch down in Sao Paulo. Arrive day 14.
