THE HOTEL
The Aubrey is Santiago's first design boutique hotel. A beautifully restored 1927 'casona' or mansion at the foot of the Metropolitan Park, it is just one block from the Pablo Neruda Museum.
The hotel's owners, with the assistance of Chilean interior designer Luz Mendez, have created an elegant decorative theme that combines original period features with a playful contemporary flair.
Rooms are light and airy, with white walls providing a backdrop for splashes of vivid colour provided by bed linen and soft furnishings. All feature original parquet floors, geometrically patterned linens, fine cotton sheets, feather beds and, in the bathrooms, invigorating Hansgrohe showers. Terrace Rooms are spacious and open onto a private outdoor seating area whilst Loft Rooms are cosy spaces with angular ceilings.
Service at The Aubrey is impeccable - crisp and efficient, yet friendly and responsive.
