Day 1
Depart London today on an overnight flight via Madrid to Santiago de Chile, set within the fertile plains of the Central Valley between the snow-capped Andes mountains in the east and the sun-soaked Pacific Coastline to the west.

Day 2
On arrival a member of the A&K team will meet you and transfer you by private car to your hotel. Hotel Lasterria will be your home for the next two nights.

Day 3
Today a member of the A&K team will transfer you by private car to the Valle Nevado, which is an hour away from the capital. Enjoy a full day of skiing, your ski equipment: skii,boots and poles are included. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to the Hotel Lasterria.

Day 4
Today you will be met by a member of the A&K team and transferred to the airport. Take the short flight to Temuco, on arrival collect your hire car for the next 6 days to begin your self drive adventure. Stay at the Hotel Antumalal set high on a rocky cliff overlooking Lake Villarrica.

Day 5 & 6
Spend the next two days exploring this beautiful area with lakes, volcanoes, hot springs and the surrounding National Parks there is plenty to see and do. After a day of discovery indulge yourself at the spa the perfect place to rejuvenate your mind and body.

Day 7
Today travel to Bariloche where you will stay for the next 3 nights, it will take the most of the day to drive to Bariloche but the scenery is stunning with spectacular views of Osorno & Calbuco volcanoes dominating the whole landscape make this day a true epic adventure.

Day 8-9
Spend the next two days exploring this magical landscape. Travel to San Martin de los Andes, a beautiful area with panoramic views to discover the different environments in Nahuel Huapi and Lanin National Parks. Cerro Campanario, the Belltower Hill provides an incredible view from the top of this hill, reached after a seven minute chairlift ride, is the highlight of the day. Discover Moreno Lake passing by the base of Lopez Mountain, a sheer 12.000 ft. face of rock, the face of the Lopez fault. This will be an incredible couple of days of spectacular scenery and breath taking landscapes that will stay with you forever.

Day 10
Today depart Bariloche and self drive back to Temuco airport where you will leave your car and board your flight back to Santiago. Enjoy tonight in the city at the Hotel Lasterria.

Day 11
You will be met in the morning by a member of the A&K team and transferred by private car back to the airport for your onward travel.

Day 12
Arrive back into London.

Best time to be there

A year round destination, Argentina's climate ranges from subtropical in the north to sub arctic in the south. The best times to visit are November to March. Spring and autumn (September to November and April to May) offer pleasant, mild temperatures.

Best time to be there

As the climate varies hugely from north to south, different places are best at different times, although spring (September to December) is universally good. Atacama can be visited year-round, central Chile enjoys a Mediterranean climate with good weather throughout. Patagonia is best for hiking in Spring or Summer.
