THE HOTEL
Standing in harmony with its neighbouring communities, Hotel Punta Islita is a premium beachfront getaway redolent with the charm, culture, and bewildering natural biodiversity of Costa Rica and the Guanacaste province. Stylish yet relaxed and packed with facilities, it is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, honeymoons, and relaxation escapes.
The property's tiered layout ensures excellent ocean and cove views from all guestrooms, which are set in secluded 'cabin style' buildings. Accommodation choices range from spacious deluxe rooms and suites, to casitas and villas with private pools. All are beautifully put together, leaning heavily on cool, tiled floors and neutral wall colours, and enlivened by splashes of colour from freshly cut flowers, soft furnishings and mosaic tiles in the bathrooms. Meanwhile, exposed wood detail lends an authentic, beach cabin flavour.
We were lucky enough to visit during sea turtle nesting season (between August and December), which afforded the privileged opportunity to visit nesting grounds on nearby beaches. It's an experience not to be missed!
