THE HOTEL
The Regent Esplanade, built in the 1920s for passengers travelling on the Orient Express, exudes the elegance and grandeur of the time. Located at the heart of the city, it is well situated for local attractions including the museums and the shopping district.

We loved the Oleander Terrace, with its sumptuous al fresco dining and privileged views of the fountain and Art Nouveau buildings of Ante Starcevic Square. Visit in the Winter when the Oleander Terrace turns into an ice rink!
First experience with A&K. Intended to ask various travel companies for quotes but Vicky (Agnew) was so good with her suggestions that we did not seek alternative quotations the suggested itinerary was excellent and helped us decide on a balanced and interesting holiday.
