And don’t miss the famous parade of penguins at Phillip Island.

Day 3 Melbourne, Australia/Embarkation
Today a member of the A&K team will transfer you to the port for embarkation. But don’t leave this city without having jumped aboard one of its signature trams. Day 5 Adelaide, Australia
Previously dubbed the ‘city of churches’, Adelaide has thrown off its sleepy reputation to become a foodie haunt with a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. The city’s large multi-ethnic population has not only spiced up cuisine, but entertainment too with a thriving urban art and music scene with pop-up shops, markets, festivals and exhibitions that add to the lively ambience. Visit the impressive Botanical Gardens and the South Australian Museum, which houses the world’ largest collection of Aboriginal artefacts, and catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island to see these creatures, along with koalas, wallabies and platypuses in their natural habitat.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Days 6-7 Days at Sea
Cruise the Great Australian Bight towards Perth.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Days 8-9 Fremantle (Perth), Western Australia
With its colonial heritage and hippy vibe, the easy-going and attractive town of Fremantle is regarded as the jewel in Western Australia’s crown. It is also the gateway to Perth, some 12 miles further up the Swan River, so staying overnight gives passengers a chance to spend a day in each place. Soak up the quirky vibe of Fremantle, where attractions include the Western Australia Maritime Museum, or visit Rottnest Island with its appealing beaches and rocky coves. The best way to see Perth is on a city tour which finishes with a boat ride that takes you back to Fremantle.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10 Geraldton, Australia
This thriving Western Australian coastal city is known for its sun-drenched climate and abundance of beaches while the Indian Ocean waters are perfect for water sports. Geraldton combines big city attractions with a small town country feel thanks to the local history and cultural heritage that underpins it. This is a place for al fresco dining at one of the many restaurants and for soaking up the blossoming cafe culture. Those wanting to explore can take one of the many scenic flights over the coastline and nearby islands.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11 Day at Sea
Cruise the coast of Western Australia to Exmouth.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12 Exmouth, Western Australia
Whale sharks are one of the main attractions of this former Second World War submarine base. Exmouth was established in the 1960s to serve the US Naval Communication Station. It is also home to the Learmonth Solar Observatory, but the resort town’s proximity to the Cape Range National Park, with its precipitous cliffs and craggy red gorges, along with the prolific marine life of the Ningaloo Marine Park is what attracts many of today’s visitors.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Days 13-15 Days at Sea
Cruise through the Indian Ocean towards Bali.
Silver Whisper | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 16 Bali, Indonesia
The playground island of Indonesia is famous for its Hindu culture that sets it apart from neighbouring Asian destinations. Bali has been blessed with the sort of natural beauty that makes it a magnet for visitors. From sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, to lush verdant rice terraces and the rugged majesty of its volcanic landscape. Balinese traditions dominate island life with hundreds of temples, rituals, dances and crafts linked to the Hindu faith amid the natural warmth of the Balinese people.

Post Cruise Days 17-18 Bali, Indonesia
On disembarking, a member of the A&K team will transfer you to the Oberoi Bali for a two-night stay. Overlooking the broad expanse of beach at Seminyak, this village-like property is a restful retreat from which to explore Bali’s attractions. Enjoy barefoot strolls along the sands, take a quad bike ride, try a spot of surfing – this stretch of coast is renowned for it – or explore under the waves at one of the world-class dive sites.

April - October

Indonesia is located very close to the Equator which means you have 12 hours of daylight daily. It is a year round destination with the western monsoon bringing the wet season from October to April providing nice, warm temperatures and rain in the afternoon, perfect for a nap, especially with a twist of sea-breeze in the coastal areas. The eastern monsoon brings the drier weather from May to September, which is generally a more popular time to visit
