These encompass activities as varied as science/technology and mindfulness to art projects and silent discos.

Pre Cruise Day 1-3 UK/Miami
On arrival in Miami a member of the A&K team will transfer you to your hotel for the next two nights. This city is a Latino melting pot with prominent Cuban and South American communities. Try the diverse cuisine at the many hole-in-the-wall restaurants and cigar shops in Little Havana. If you time your visit on Viernes Culturales – Cultural Fridays – you’ll get a fusion of all of Miami’s facets in one hit. Chill out in style at Miami Beach with its lines of resort hotels that back on to the long expanse of powder-white sand.
Loews Miami Beach Hotel | Meals: Room Only

Day 4 Miami/Embarkation
Embark your ship at Miami’s port today, but don’t leave the city without visiting South Beach, with its atmospheric Art Deco hotels and cool bars. Just around the corner is the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall, a good place for retail therapy and people-watching, and one of the many malls in and around the city.
Celebrity Equinox | Meals: Full Board

Day 5 Key West, Florida
The last in the line of cays – or islands – stretching from the Miami coastline, Key West has something of a castaway feel, even though it is connected to the mainland by a highway. Nicknamed the ‘conch republic’, Key West is renowned for its kooky atmosphere, and diverse populace, with locals known as Conchs. It’s an ideal spot for people-watching and is easy to explore on foot. Visit the house where hell-raising author Ernest Hemingway lived, where six-toed cats roam, and try the cay’s famous key lime pie at one of the cafes.

Day 6 At Sea
Cruise the Caribbean Sea towards Mexico

Day 7 Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico
This purpose-built cruise port on Mexico’s Caribbean coast is the gateway to this exotic region, with its jungle-covered interior, fine-sand beaches and translucent lagoons. The immediate area around the port has shops and an open-air theatre which hosts folklore performances, along with a swimming pool, bungee trampolines and small beach area. Passengers wanting to go further afield can try motorcycle tours, jungle treks or visit the lost Mayan city of Chacchoben.
Celebrity Equinox | Meals: Full Board

Day 8 Cozumel, Mexico
The so-called Island of Swallows may be a popular cruise stop and appear commercialised at first glance, but only around a third of the island has been developed. Away from the tourist area, you will find untamed jungle-covered terrain and untouched beaches. Gin-clear waters and unspoilt coral reefs make this area one of word’s best diving spots. On land, there’s a distinctive Caribbean rhythm and feel, underpinned by a strong Mayan influence with many of the ruins of this ancient civilisation within easy reach.
Celebrity Equinox | Meals: Full Board

Day 9 George Town, Grand Cayman
As well as being a British Overseas Territory and tax haven, the Cayman Islands – or most notably the main island of Grand Cayman and its capital George Town – has become increasingly popular among cruise lines. The islands offer some of the world’s best diving, dazzlingly white sand beaches, a laidback lifestyle and low crime rate. Grand Cayman is famous for its vast Seven Mile Beach and Stingray City where visitors can swim and dive with tame rays. Alternatively, take submarine and glass-bottom boat rides to see the islands’ famed marine life.
Celebrity Equinox | Meals: Full Board

Day 10 At Sea
Enjoy the many facilities on-board as you cruise back to Miami.

Day 11 Miami/Disembarkation/UK
Upon disembarking, A&K will take you to the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, stay a little longer to explore more of Florida’s attractions, from the theme parks of Orlando to the upmarket cache of Fort Lauderdale.

Pricing
At A&K all of our journeys are individually tailored to suit your needs and timescale. As a guide, this 12 day suggested holiday will cost from £3,480 per person, based on two adults and two children (under 11) sharing a Balcony Stateroom, including international flights.
