Zambia
CHEETAHS: relaxing in the shade
Zambia is the ideal safari destination for those looking for wildlife in remote, untouched areas.
The majority of the bush camps in Zambia are small, ensuring minimum impact on the environment. With our partners Sanctuary Lodges and Camps, we are able to offer you luxury accommodation in the heart of the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Park.
The Luangwa Valley is one of the last unspoilt areas of Africa and probably one of the finest for game viewing. Covering an area of 9,000 square kilometres it is dissected by the Luangwa River. Oxbow lakes form perfect waterholes for the wildlife. The Luangwa Valley is synonymous with walking safaris. It is here that you can experience the thrill of tracking Africa’s big game on foot.
The Lower Zambezi National Park is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River. In some parts, the river is over 2km wide and is 2,700km long. Bush camps are scattered along the water’s edge and are great settings for watching the river activity. A chance to explore this region by boat is highly recommended.
Despite being the largest National Park in Zambia, Kafue National Park, with its variety of eco-systems, is ideal for those seeking a safari experience away from the crowds. The game viewing here is fantastic - lion, leopard, elephant and rhino may be encountered. It is also a haven for any bird enthusiast.
