Fairmont Towers

Cairo , Egypt

NEED TO KNOW

  • The Fairmont Towers is located at the heart of Cairo's diplomatic and presidential neighbourhood, a few minutes from Cairo International Airport
  • The 835 air-conditioned rooms and suites are decorated to reflect Egyptian styles, old and new
  • The restaurant, Aqua e Luce, is the first gourmet restaurant of its kind to open in Cairo
  • The hotel has three swimming pools, including a kids pool
  • Other facilities include squash, tennis, and beach-volley courts, a fully-equipped health club, beauty salon, a children's playground and a range of shops
  • This hotel is superbly located for those notoriously early flights out of Cairo

THE HOTEL
The Fairmont Towers offers a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. The huge glass atrium, complete with palms, bars, restaurants, shops and, of course, air-conditioning, is the focal point of the hotel - it is a relaxed, light and airy space.

This hotel is practically bursting at the seams with facilities so, if you want to take time away from downtown Cairo, you won't be short of things to do.

We recommendThe complementary one-way shuttle service to the souk or Egyptian Museum is available daily at 9.00am. Alternatively, if shopping is your thing, take the twice-daily shuttle to City Stars, the largest mall in Cairo.

Best time to be there

Winter (October to April) for cultural trips, although May to September is great for the Red Sea. Ramadan is a particularly exciting time to be in Egypt - it is celebrated here with more exuberance than anywhere else in the world.
