Nile in Style

Egypt, 7 Nights

Stay at the famous Mena House Oberoi, see the classical sights of Luxor and cruise the Nile in style.

Day 1 - London/Cairo.
Fly in style with British Airways and arrive to Cairo to stay at one of Egypt's most historic hotels, perfectly located next to the Pyramids at Giza.

Day 2 - Cairo.

Unwind with a leisurely morning before a journey of discovery at the Egyptian Antiquities Museum. See the unbelievable archaeological treasures of Egypt and the riches of Tutankhamun.

Day 3 - Cairo.
See the most famous symbol of Egypt, the Pyramids at Giza. Have a look inside one of the pyramids before seeing the lioned shaped Sphinx.

Day 4 - Cairo/Aswan.                   
An early flight leads you to the unique Sun Boat IV in Aswan. Ride in a motorboat to the island of Philae to see the  fine reliefs on the 18 metre high towers at the entrance to the Temple of Isis. Observe the coloured granites and alabaster in the ancient quarries and see the Unfinished Obelisk, still attached to the bedrock.

Day 5 - Aswan/Esna.                 
Cruise leisurely to Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus situated on a sweeping bend of the Nile. Onto Edfu to see the most completely preserved temple in Egypt, in near perfect condition.

Day 6 - Esna/Luxor.                 
Tombs await your arrival to the site of the amazing Valley of the Kings and Queens. See the strangely modern looking Temple of Hatshepsut and enjoy make a photostop at sentinel like Colossi of Memnon. Explore the fabled temples of Luxor and Karnak before your stylish farewell dinner.

Day 7 -Luxor/Cairo.
                   
Fly back to Cairo and spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the facilities of the Fairmont Towers.

Day 8 - Cairo/London.
               
Time to fly home or perhaps extend your Egyptian journey to Alexandria or Siwa. Ask your travel consultant for details.
