Four Seasons Resort Sharm el Sheikh

Best time to be there

Winter (October to April) for cultural trips, although May to September is great for the Red Sea. Ramadan is a particularly exciting time to be in Egypt - it is celebrated here with more exuberance than anywhere else in the world.

THE HOTEL
Soaked in year-round sun, and set in an oasis of green against the surrounding desert landscapes, the Four Seasons is one of our favourite hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. Beautifully designed, the hotel is an oasis of cool and calm, its modern take on traditional architecture bringing together sweeping arches, cobbled courtyards and secluded palm groves.

The hotel offers superb dining, spa, fitness, diving, sports and luxurious guest rooms clustered like a hillside village above the shimmering Red Sea.

We recommendThe candlelit ambience of the Observatory Lounge, with its spectacular vistas of Tiran Island and the Red Sea, was our favourite evening spot, not least thanks to its outstanding Martinis.

Guest Testimonial

Quite simply excellent. If I could say one thing it is that Egypt is the place to go right now, as there were virtually no tourists at some of the sights and that,I should think, is quite rare!
