THE HOTEL
Poised on the very southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, this 85 acre property defies its desert setting with lush, tropical gardens, endless terraced pools and waterfalls. The hotel's spacious rooms and suites offer a stylishly modern take on classic South Mediterranean décor, whilst its bars, restaurants and public areas are a study in colonial splendour.
The Hyatt Regency offers fantastic watersports, ranging from windsurfing to some of the world's finest diving. This includes a unique programme enabling children aged between 8 and 12 to experience the magic of scuba diving the Gardens Bay - one of the more secluded dive sites at the South Sinai coast.
We loved the hotel's night diving trip, which offers a surprising and different experience of the region's diverse marine life - under the stars, the marine life shows off a completely different coat of vibrant colours.
All 471 rooms and suites offer air-conditioned elegance and open out onto large private balconies with sea views.
