Days 1 -3 Bay of Islands
Welcome to New Zealand, a spacious country with a dramatic landscape that belies the humble slither on the map. Your first stop is a three night stay at the Bay of Islands and the luxurious surrounds of The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs. Make the most of its first-class facilities; as well as the magnificent golf course, there is mountain-biking, riding and fishing to be enjoyed on the glorious 6,000 acre estate, not to mention a host of tantalising treatments on offer at the fabulous spa.

Days 4 – 6 Hawkes Bay
Fly down to Hawke's Bay, the nation's oldest wine-growing region and still a top wine producer. Wine is not only the order of the day, excellent hiking and a stunning cliff-top golf course complete the recipe for an unforgettable holiday to the region. There is no finer place to enjoy all of this than a three night stay at the Farm at Cape Kidnappers, set atop 6,000 rolling acres of pasture lands.

Days 7 – 9 Queenstown
It’s time for a change of scene - and tempo - as you fly from laid-back North Island to alpine South Island, famous for the high-octane adventures it offers amongst its snow-capped mountains, raging rivers and spectacular fjords. Matakauri Lodge is one of Queenstown’s most elegant secret escapes and the perfect base from which to enjoy the very best the region has to offer.

Days 10 – 15 Laucala, Fiji
There is no finer place to relax after an adventure packed New Zealand journey than the private island refuge of Laucala. There are plenty of activities to enjoy here, including a wide variety of water sports, rainforest walks, diving, snorkelling, sailing, golf, farm visits, horse riding and cultural visits to the local village plus traditional Fijian therapies at the world class spa. May to October is Fiji's dry season when the weather is pleasant and temperatures are milder. November to April is considered the wet season, with very occasional cyclones. Fiji has an average temperature of 25 degrees.

Best time to be there

Summer on the north island (December to February) is ideal for outdoor pursuits with mild temperatures and hours of sunshine. Venture to the numerous ski slopes and warm up close to a crackling fire during the winter months in June to August.
