Why we like it
- La Perouse is set on a rocky shore in the heart of Nice and overlooking the Promenade des Anglais, the Bay of Angels and the Mediterranean Sea
- All the hotel's rooms and suites have views out across the famous bay
- The restaurant serves delightful cuisine in the shade of lemon trees and with views of the blue of the Mediterranean beyond the city rooftops
- The hotel has an outdoor pool, which is heated from April to October
- Other facilities include a sauna, solarium, fitness centre and Jacuzzi
Visit the open-air flower market in the old downtown just behind the hotel. Also, make sure to book the Deluxe Sea View Rooms, the views at sundown are simply superb.
A first-class service: finding a suitable cruise to fit my parameters; managing to extend the time during which the offer would remain open so as to give me more time to discuss the trip with my travelling companion; and finally making all the train and hotel bookings to make the whole holiday as trouble free as possible. I cannot speak too highly of the way in which everything been conducted.
