THE HOTEL
Nestling quietly in the hills above Cannes, Le Mas Candille is surrounded by mature cypress trees and old olive groves. An imaginatively transformed 18th century 'Mas' or farmhouse, the hotel comprises of 40 rooms, each individually styled and sympathetic to the hotel's Provençal heritage, yet with a nod to contemporary living.
Guest rooms are split between Le Mas and La Bastide, whilst six new suites are housed in a double storey extension built into the hillside with stunning views towards Mougins. A partially covered walkway links the suites in La Villa Candille to the main hotel.
The private balconies are a real treat. When you witness the dramatic sunrises and sunsets, with their vibrant, vivid palettes of colour and light, you will instantly understand why this part of the world has inspired so many artists.
If you stay for more than four nights we recommend hiring a car to fully explore the stunning region.
Sunworshippers head to the beaches from June to September. The climate is mainly temperate with the south enjoying hot summers and mild winters.
