Greenland is the largest island in the world, but has just 60,000 people.  A land of giant icebergs hundreds of metres high, ice flords, granite mountains and glaciers. Largely unspoilt, the wildlife is abundant and is often up close. 24 hours of daylight or indeed night are of course a dominant feature here. Whilst temperatures in the summer can be higher than you might expect, the winds and changeable nature of the climate make this a harsh environment. A trip to Greenland is a true adventure, low visitors and little infrastructure make each trip unique and very special. Our trips include the warmer coastal regions and head inland past the glacier cap. Travel is usually by helicopter or snow mobile. This unique location, and the dramatic landscape, in which herds of wild reindeer and musk oxen roam; and the northern lights illuminate the night skies; make it a favourite place for tourists in the summer as well as during the winter.

Guest Testimonial

Quite simply excellent. If I could say one thing it is that Egypt is the place to go right now, as there were virtually no tourists at some of the sights and that,I should think, is quite rare!
