  • Stay in a range of luxury tented camps and characterful lodges
  • Look for wildlife amid the tropical deciduous forests of Pench National Park
  • Search for tigers, as well as endangered deer, amid the jungle of Kanha
  • Finish in Bandhavgarh, home to the highest density of tigers in India

Day 1 UK / Mumbai
Fly from London Heathrow to Mumbai.

Day 2 Mumbai / Nagpur / Pench
After a short onward flight to Nagpur, and a drive through the countryside, the forest thickets and jungly streams of Pench National Park await.
Jamtara Wilderness Camp | Meals: Dinner

Day 3 Pench
Pench is one of India's premier tiger parks, with a healthy population of the big cats. But there are plenty more creatures roaming amid its teak trees and dry riverbeds, including leopards, Indian wild dogs, wolves and an array of birds. Early morning and late afternoon game drives maximise your chances of sightings.
Jamtara Wilderness Camp | Meals: Dinner

Day 4 Pench / Kanha
There's time for one last morning game drive before heading to Kanha National Park, arguably even better for tiger-spotting. Stay at elegant, riverside Banjaar Tola or the intimate Flame of the Forest Camp, which has just four delightful cottages.
Banjaar Tola or Flame of the Forest Safari Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Days 5 & 6 Kanha
In Kanha, the landscape a vast sweep of sal forest and meadows is as beguiling as the wildlife. The national park forms the core of the Tiger Reserve created by Project Tiger in 1974; its landmark achievement is the preservation of the rare barasingha swamp deer from near extinction. Spend two days exploring, on morning and afternoon game drives, searching for tigers as well as leopards, langur monkeys and Indian bison.
Banjaar Tola or Flame of the Forest Safari Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7 Kanha / Bandhavgarh
It's a six-hour drive to reach Bandhavgarh, but this park is worth every minute. Simply, it's one of the best places on earth to spot tigers, with one of the highest big cat densities in India. Stay in a chic kutiya (jungle hut) at Mahua Kothi or a tran-quil villa at romantic Samode Safari Lodge.
Mahua Kothi or Samode Safari Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Days 8 & 9 Bandhavgarh
Bandhavgarh was originally the private hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and remains utterly unspoilt. Game drives here may reveal the varied and abundant birdlife as well as mammals galore: leopards, barking deer, wild oxon and of course tigers.
Mahua Kothi or Samode Safari Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10 Bandhavgarh / Delhi
Enjoy one last breakfast in the Indian bush before heading to Jabalpur for a flight to Delhi. Spend your last night in style either at the Oberoi or Trident in Gurgaon, well-placed for the airport.
Oberoi Gurgaon or Trident | Meals: Breakfast

Day 11 Delhi / UK
Depart in the morning for your return flight to London.
