Our driver Sonu was excellent. He more than anyone helped to make our visit comfortable. We had complete trust in him and it was helped by his excellent driving right throughout the journey- Delhi traffic or express highways. He was very courteous and thoughtful. We can't praise him enough!

In terms of design, the resort exudes a sense of space from the delightful reception area, to the grounds and the accommodation.
The accommodation itself is housed in Balinese style cottages, which stand either side of a shallow canal-like pond lined with giant brass urlis and swaying palms. Inside, the spacious interiors are spacious and stylish. Sumptuous furnishing combine with a mix of comfortable contemporary furniture and Indonesian pieces - huge low beds with a wooden step, chunky teak wood coffee tables, sofas with silk covers - to create refined, elegant feel.
Best time to be there
From October to March the weather is refreshingly cool with minimal rainfall in most places. India's main festivals also take place during this time, such as the Pushkar Fair in Rajasthan, the Republic Day of India and Holi, the festival of colours.
