Amanusa is a secluded retreat amongst the verdant landscapes of Bali's southern peninsula. A relaxing microcosm of all things Balinese, it commands spectacular views of the island of Nusa Penida and the distant volcano of Gunung Agung. Award-winning architecture and service creates a sense of space and serenity, whilst echoes of Bali's spiritual roots encourage total relaxation.
Elegantly furnished, thatched suites have four-poster beds, garden courtyards and outdoor terraces with comfortable, shaded daybeds. All are set behind stone walls seeded with mosses and fragrant flowers, and joined by raised walkways leading to one of the region's most prestigious golf courses. For a taste of vibrant local culture, stroll the bougainvillea-lined streets of nearby Nusa Dua, where boutiques and restaurants abound, whilst inspirational cultural tours are only a short bike ride, walk or drive from the resort. If you just want to relax, head to the Amanusa Beach Club, where private grass thatched shelters provide refreshments and delicious snacks on one of Bali's finest white sand beaches.
