Day 1 - London/Denpasar, Bali
Board your overnight Thai Airways flight from Heathrow to Denpasar, Bali.
Day 2 - Jimbaran Bay
Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay for four nights.
Day 3 - Jimbaran Bay
Enjoy a day of leisure at this lovely resort. Walk on the beach, relax by the pool or pamper yourself with a spa treatment.
Day 4 - Jimbaran Bay
Today, gain an insight into the daily lives of the Balinese people. Drive to the small capital, Denpasar. Enjoy a morning visit to the Bali Museum, the Bali Art Centre and a traditional market - great for souvenir shopping. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 5 - Jimbaran Bay
After a morning at leisure, visit Uluwatu on the southern tip of the island, where you will find a temple balanced precariously on the cliff-edge, dropping 70 metres down to the ocean. The Pura Luhur Ulawatu is one of Bali's most important and holiest temples, and is dedicated to the spirits of the sea. Visit Garuda Wisnu Kencana, a private cultural park on the Bukit Peninsula, before returning to the hotel.
Day 6 - Jimbaran Bay/Ubud
After a leisurely start, transfer to the Four Seasons Sayan, located above the sacred Ayung River just outside of Ubud, for three nights. Ubud has become the centre for Balinese arts and is an atmospheric little town. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure with a swim in the pool or perhaps learn the art of meditation.
Day 7 - Ubud
This morning, experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the Ayung River - suitable for all ages. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the art and crafts centre of Bali including Celuk (the village of silversmiths), Mas (the village of wood-carvers) and Ubud (the home of artists). You will also be able to stop and enjoy the stunning rice terrace scenery.
Day 8 - Ubud
After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Taman Ayun Temple at Mengwi, then proceed to the picturesque mountain resort of Bedugul, on the shores of Lake Beratan. En route, stop at Bukit Mungsu Market where villagers sell lovely roses, wild orchids and fresh vegetables. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and continue to Jatiluwih Village, to see breathtaking rice terraces. End the day with a visit to Tanah Lot Temple. Pura Tanah Lot perches on a huge rock carved out by the incoming tide, and dissolves into a striking silhouette against the setting sun. The multi-tiered shrines have become an unofficial symbol of Bali, only true devotees are allowed to enter the compound itself.
Day 9 - Ubud/Lombok
Rise early to transfer to the coast for an express boat to Lombok. Arrive late morning and check-in to the Oberoi Lombok for four nights. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to settle in.
Day 10 - Lombok
This morning, drive to the south of the island to explore some local villages. You will visit the pottery village of Banyumulek, a traditional market in Kediri, and Sukarara, known for its weaving activities. Also stop at Rembitan, a traditional Sasak village, to see a typical Sasak house and meet the local people. You will also enjoy some time relaxing on the peaceful white sands of Kuta Beach. Have lunch in a local restaurant.
Day 11 - Lombok
Enjoy a full-day tour beginning at the colourful Lendang Bajur morning market. Continue to Baun Pusuk forest to see the monkeys. Have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the beautiful island of Gili Meno, famous for its colourful fish and coral reef, not far from Lombok's mainland.
Day 12 - Lombok
Spend your last full day at leisure, lazing by the pool or strolling on the beach.
Day 13 - Lombok/London
Check-out of the hotel and transfer to the jetty for your boat transfer back to Bali. Board the late-afternoon flight back to London Heathrow on Thai Airways, via Bangkok.

Indonesia is located very close to the Equator which means you have 12 hours of daylight daily. It is a year round destination with the western monsoon bringing the wet season from October to April providing nice, warm temperatures and rain in the afternoon, perfect for a nap, especially with a twist of sea-breeze in the coastal areas. The eastern monsoon brings the drier weather from May to September, which is generally a more popular time to visit
