THE HOTEL
Widely recognized as one of Europe' s finest resorts, Forte Village has achieved that rare combination of first-class accommodations, service, dining and facilities with a relaxed, casual friendliness for an unmatched holiday getaway for those who seek grand style and exclusivity. With elegant rooms, bungalows, suites and villas, up to 20 restaurants and activities for all ages and interests.
Villa del Parco & Spa is set back amongst the greenery of the manicured gardens in a quiet part of the resort. With 25 double rooms boasting balconies or patios and 22 double or triple bungalows with private terraces.
There are three spectacular freshwater swimming pools, with a diving board, at the Oasis in the centre of the village and two more spacious seawater pools, with 250 metres of slides are set amid beautiful natural scenery at the Baia delle Palme. Thaermae del Forte is a true open-air haven with Thalassotherapy at its core and has been certified as a 'Leading Spa of the World'. Two further heated freshwater pools at the waterfront are reserved for guests of the Villa del Parco.
The list of activities is immense, whether it is the soft white sandy beaches that take your fancy or the thrill of scuba diving, you can be active all day long. We particularity enjoyed the watersports on offer at the Boat House on the beach and the Chelsea Football Club Soccer School for those aged 4 to 14 years. Tennis is a big draw with coaches all being featured in the ATP world rankings. The twelve courts include one grass, one artificial grass, eight clay and two hard courts. All are floodlit at night. If you are more a rugby person then Healey, Greenwood, Leonard and Robinson will pass their skills onto you in their morning training sessions. The Molas Golf Club course is world class and has hosted Italian Opens. Adjacent to the Village is Leisureland a haven for teens with a go-kart track, nightclub and climbing wall to name a few.
The 'Citta dei Bambini' is no typical kids club. With its own pool and activities from pizza making to musical instrument lessons, the week ends in a show by the children in the main square.
A fantastic array of restaurants produces every cuisine imaginable, including Sardinian, Chinese, Lebanese, French, Italian and Brazilian and in the heart of the Village the Piazza Maria Luigia hosts nightly events. Michelin-starred chefs Gordon Ramsay, Rocco Iannone and Giancarlo Perbellini coupled with the Forte Gourmet cooking school ensure that the cuisine on offer is second to none. The terrace of the Villa del Parco's top-floor restaurant, Belvedere, is where the natural fare of Sardinia is on the menu.
We also feature the Hotel Castello, Le Dune and Il Borgo that are part of Forte Village Resort.
The Villa del Parco & Spa is connected to the Thaermae del Forte Thalassotherapy Centre via a private passage.
