Days 1 - 3 Fly to Amman
Just a five hour flight and you are in the capital, Amman. An A&K guide will accompany you throughout your journey, showing you key sites such the Citadel and the Roman ruins of Jerash - where it is easy to imagine chariots and centurions filing down the well-preserved streets. There is fun aplenty at the interactive Children's Museum and older children will enjoy Climbat Amman, a huge indoor climbing centre and a great place to burn off energy. The following day it's time for a desert expedition - in search of the castles at Kharaneh, Amra and Azraq. Lunchtime brings the opportunity to share a traditional meal with a family from one of the desert communities.

Days 4 - 5 Kings Highway & Petra
Hit the King's Highway and head south. En route there will be time to absorb more of Jordan's rich history, stopping at Madaba to learn about the ancient mosaics, and following in Moses' footsteps at Mount Nebo. There will be tales of the Crusades at the castles of Kerak and Shobak and the crossing of dramatic canyons before arriving at the famed pink city of Petra where a day of exploration awaits amongst the famous rock facades.
Movenpick Resort Petra | Meals : Breakfast

Days 6 - 7 Wadi Rum & Dead Sea

A little further south you'll arrive in Lawrence of Arabia territory - the lunar landscape of Wadi Rum, home to a number of Bedouin families. A driver will take you out in a 4x4 into the rocky desert landscape for lunch in a traditional Bedouin tent, and then you'll swap four wheels for four hooves - riding a camel in a caravan to find the best view. Your final destination on this Jordanian adventure is the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Here you can float in its uniquely buoyant mineral-rich waters and make the most of the family-friendly facilities of the Kempinski before heading back to Amman for your flight home.
