The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is one of Africa's leading conservation initiatives and a stay at Wilderness Trails is a great way to experience this remote and untouched region. Situated in the wildlife rich eastern corner of the conservancy the Craig family home has been used to delight guests for some 30 years. Just eight cottages sleep 16 people and each have their own fireplace and veranda. Activities include horse riding and game drives. Meals created by talented chefs with produce from the five acre organic garden are served together with your fellow guests around a long banquet table.

The rainfall is sometimes heavy and when it does come it often falls in the afternoons and evenings. The hottest period is from February to March and coldest in July to August.
